Fashion & Art: the divine essence of creativity - Palazzo Bertalazone di San Fermo, Torino
We presented our accessories together with Elisabetta Coraini (100 Vetrine, Canale 5). This winter collection was created using a technique
Art Protis. For this exhibitions (2-4th October2009) we were invited together with other 40 Designer protagonists chosen from the most
interesting scene in Italy and Europe.
"Creativity: starting from new and passed suggestions, giving sense to colours and combinations, following unexpected intuitions, inventing styles and trends, moods from today and tastes for tomorrow. Expressions: transforming unrefined material in a second skin for living, getting touched and worn allday, every day. The philosophy is conveying each personal spirit and character through any single creation. This is the real essence of fashion design.
Byhand was dedicated to fashion but how you could read before we wanted to go back to the basic meaning of creating garments showing handcrafted artwork, limited products and versions as a way to express. "

Con la importante presenza di Elisabetta Coraini (100 Vetrine, Canale 5), abbiamo presentato i nostri accessori - stole, cinture e borse per i quali abbiamo utilizzato la tecnica unica di Art Protis. Il nostro atelier è stato scelto per questa mostra-fiera a Torino (2-4 ottobre 2009) tra i 40 atelier più interessanti d'Europa.
"Creare forme, partendo da nuove e vecchie suggestioni, declinare colori e accostamenti seguendo repentine intuizioni, inventare stili e tendenze, umori del presente e gusti che verrano. Espressioni che si trasformano in una seconda pelle da vivere, toccare, indossare tutti i giorni, con la filosofia di raccontare spirito e persona: questa l’essenza del fashion design.
Percorso alternativo alle manifestazioni ufficiali, byhand è stato un evento dedicato al fashion design inteso come creazione artigianale di abiti e accessori a tiratura limitata. Corredato da mostre e suggestioni a tema, si snoda nelle antiche sale del seicentesco Palazzo Bertalazone di San Fermo."
