Ekotextil design

I refuse to stay in place. I refuse stagnation. I turn to the past, leaning on my roots and tradition, and looking for my strength in invention. I try to move the boundaries I know, and I believe that sustainability is a reflection of the current lifestyle, a new urgent need. This is why I have decided to devote my power and energy to the new challenges that open up to me in new pedagogical projects. To help shape a new, conscious generation of fashion designers. This transfer of experience and knowledge today is a huge opportunity that can not be missed and at the same time I see it as the most risky act I have ever undergone.

Ekotextil design is a new innovative fashion design department, which I conceived and founded in 2016 at the Secondary School of Art and Design in Brno and which deals with the ecological application of textile materials. Its focus is against consumerism and aims to raise a fashion designer who will be fully informed and responsible for his work in terms of environmental impact with the criteria of sustainable fashion.

Ekotextil design. New progressive school fashion department of the future.
